Wanted to see if anyone has a feel for the value, if any, of a Sands of Kahana 2BR floating week (1-50) timeshare. I have a friend whose parents own one that they can't use anymore and he asked if it's worth anything. Also curious if the resort will take these back. Appreciate any info you can share.

I took a look on eBay (sales) and there are some units that closed for just a couple of bucks with ALL fees paid by the seller.

Redweek has 2 units for sale (not sold) - - one at $500 and one at $3500.

I believe that the SOKVC may take back a deed but I don't have the details. You would need to contact their upper management.

I see people selling their units through www.sokco.info. They are typically getting a bit higher prices. SOKCO stands for Sands of Kahana Concerned Owners - - a non-profit group who are interested in protecting the value and enjoyment of their SOK units. The 2 and 3 BR units seem to sell reasonably well (of course, it depends on the asking price).
