It is on the water, a dock that you can fish from, but the beach is 2 miles away.

We've stayed at several RCI resorts here in Florida very similar to this one and have been very happy with them. It has been our experience with the smaller resorts like this one that the staff and other people staying there are very friendly and helpful. We live in Florida and go a lot so staying at resorts like this one isn't one of our big vacations for the year. Also there is usually only the two of us and occasionally our young granddaughter. If you have 4 adults going then the units might be a little small, 466-553 square feet.

This unique little property, now known as Marco Resort & Club, was converted from the Marco Pass Motel to a timeshare condominium in 1980. Marco Resort & Club consists of twenty four one bedroom, one bath fully furnished units with individual central air conditioning. Twenty two of the units have full kitchen facilities with dishwashers and the other two have refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, toasters, and blenders. All units have two color TVs, on cable, with free HBO, one in the main room and one in the bedroom. All bedrooms have a queen sized bed and the main room is a combination of a living area with a queen sized sofa sleeper, dining area, and kitchen. All units have telephones with dial up data ports and voice mail. Local calls are free. Free WiFi service is available. The entrance to all units is through a screened porch, or as some in Florida call them, lanai. Free daily towel and linen exchange are provided and free housekeeping service for stays over one week. The resort offers a heated swimming pool and a hot water spa. Other on site amenities include free washer and dryers for personal laundry, gas grills, bicycles, boat/fishing dock and 18 foot pontoon boats with a 50 hp outboard motor available for rent to experienced boaters.

I visited it, did not care for it, it may be on the water, but none of the units have a view of the water.
