Made a Reservation Saturday - Points Still Show

I made a reservation on Saturday for Bonnet Creek. The points are still showing in my account and have not been deducted yet. How long is it taking for points to be deducted from your points total after making a reservation?

Normally 24 hrs but WYN is having systems problems lately related to points accounting. Would give it another 24hrs with no additional transaction. If they still haven't updated would give them a call to find out why.

Did you get the confirmation and is the reservation for sure showing up in your "view confirmation" page?

If you book over the weekend, it will not update until Monday and it will post on Tuesday. The points status is always behind by one day during the work week. Weekends take just a little longer.

You can check the real LIVE value by trying to book another reservation and on that screen it shows how many points you have available. Realize this could include current year + any Pooled points too.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I received the confirmation and reservation shows in my confirmations. Sandy, I tried booking another reservation and the correct live point total did show. :)

Thats it littlestar, that is the easiest way to double check your points once you have done a bunch of transactions. Like is I cancel a few and want to double check that they went into the right bucket, I use the start a reservation method.

At least its a method that works. That is wyndham for you.

My HGVC points status is a live calculation. But that seems too complicated for wyndham.
