We normally get a car to rent for our week, but noticed that Lyft and uber were available. Has anyone relied on these services only instead of getting a rental vehicle?
We stay in Kihei, and other than a few long trips, stay close to our time share when we are there
We are going in a few days, so no time to change our mind for this trip, but maybe next year?

No, sorry. We always get a car. Our timeshare is in Kihei and I can't imagine being there without a car. We drive to the grocery store, the beach, restaurants, other parts of the island.

I have also never used Uber or Lyft anywhere else.

Just returned from Kihei. Rented a car for one day, rode bus back to timeshare. Used Uber several times, including return trip to airport.

Good to know, for some, that Uber is available.

We are usually on Maui for two weeks at a time. Again, I can't imagine being without a car there.

We stayed a week in San Diego without a car. More urban than Kihei of course, and it was easy to get around on transit and uber . I think we will pay attention to how much we drive somewhere just because we have a car
