All,

TUG really is a great community -- it has been my pleasure to be able to meet a number of TUGgers when on vacation, sometimes more than once. Jonell and I have met Steve and Carly on several of our trips to Oahu and they are wonderful people.

I purchased a small Aulani package to provide access to the facility when we stay at Marriott Ko Olina. We are staying there this July and I didn't know if my ownership would close and allow me to use the banked/expiring points to reserve a night or two at Aulani.

A few months ago, I asked Steve to check availability and he took the initiative on his own and reserved an available room for me with his points. I was very happy that he did this for me as I really wanted that access and we didn't know if rooms would be available for me at the appropriate time.

Today I got my Member ID and was able to book two nights with expiring points, and Steve will cancel his but I just think it is so nice when people do something kind and considerate for a friend. Thanks Steve again -- I appreciate the willingness to assist (and the creativity!)

Best,

Greg

Greg, I so agree. TUG is an amazing and wonderful community. So many wonderful folks helped me when I made my fist purchase and the continue to help me. I think it's awesome how you gave a pat on the back to Steve as everyone needs to know how much their help and assistance means to us.

Nice of steve to do that. We have a great community here.

So when will you be here at mko, aulani or hgvc Greg? We will be back here at mko and aulani after visiting your home town of carlsbad in june. If the dates meetup we can have a meetup.

Sounds like you are in the same systems of mvc, hgvc and now dvc. Have a bad case off addontitis it seems like ! Last time we met you, i believe your hawaii holdings were 3 weeks at mco. Now you have hgvc lagoon, dvc aulani and mvc koolina. Seems you might be looking for a home here in hawaii soon !

Safe travels and hope to meetup in the summer.

Greg, thanks for the kind words. I'm always willing to help out in anyway I can. For those that do not know, as a noob to timeshares and Tug Greg introduced me to Worldmark which has enabled my family to experience may vacations we would not otherwise have been able to afford. Looking forward to meeting up with Greg and Jonell in the near future.

Agree, Steve helped me out with an HGVC booking from the RCI bulk that allowed me to travel with extra family members, I think it turned out as a win-win for both of us.

Frank, there is a SoCal TUGers meetup on June 10th in Carlsbad if the date works you are welcome. There is a message in the HGVC forum about it, will be at the Seapointe annual owners meeting.

slum808 is awesome. He introduced me to Worldmark (and Greg!) when I thought I wanted to buy Hilton! And was the one who rented us DVC points to stay at Aulani--of which after that we bought DVC points for VGC ourselves after that stay..
