How difficult is it to get an exchange for the week of July 4th in the Florida panhandle/Myrtle beach if you have an OGS going for over a year? We got a match for Los Olas Beach Club in Satelite Beach FL for 2018 and I'm debating on if I should keep it or toss it back for a different match. Just don't want to toss it back and then end up with nothing or something worse.

If it is a 2 br unit and that's what you need, you might want to keep it. If it is a studio or 1 br, you will probably get more matches.

I agree you might want to keep it if it is a 2 bedroom unit. I haven't used the points protection feature myself so not sure how it works but that might be something you would want to consider in case something you would rather have comes up.

If you are used to going to Panama City Beach or Myrtle Beach you might be somewhat disappointed by the Satellite Beach area as there isn't nearly as much to do there as the other two areas. We've stayed in the Cocoa Beach area at 3 different resorts and like the area but we are there for a beach week when we go and outside of eating out a few times aren't doing much else besides the beach. If I remember correctly all the units are oceanfront at the Los Olas Beach Club SB location.
