Are we talking about "the bribe" to lose 4+ hours of a vacation morning or early afternoon? Cash and cash equivalent for the food? Like cash payment of per hour spent as hostage PLUS the cost of food at a cheap diner MINUS the very poor and rude wait staff?

Sorry .. Wyndham has me on their "Do Not Tour" list. I think I was COSTING them way more in lost 'marks'.

I usually hear it is $75 or $100 worth of gift cards recently. Depends on the resort and HOW long you hold out.

Our price is $150/hour, which has only been granted once.

How do you get on that list? How often will they try to talk you into an owner's update? At first they weren't trying as I was on a guest certificate. But then my account number showed as clear. In the sales meeting, the representative was saying that I have a DECLINE on my report. Is that because I said no before I became an owner? The only thing that the owner's update did was to aggravate me enough to go find another resale and use their stinking gift card to pay for it.

If you are on the Do Not Tour list the body snatcher does not get credit for signing you up for a tour and may get in trouble for wasting the sales reps time. That was what happened with me at Bali Hai recently.

I usually go for the $75 Wyndham Update and when sales person looks at my account they realize "no sale" as I'm grandfathered Gold VIP and cost to get me to next level is "excessive" so they basically say have a nice day and I take my $75 gift card and leave (Usually 1 hour)
