II Platinum is it worth it?

We received a 2 for 1 offer to upgrade to Platinum and not sure if it's worth it. There doesn't seem to be as many getaways now and the prices have gone up. Anyone?

It is worth it for us because we trade using lock off units and save on the upsize charges to larger units. We like the free guest certificates for our kids and friends, too.

To me it's worth it as we get 60€ off each getaway and we book several per year.

IF you exchange for larger units, the upgraded memberships come with discounts on the upgrade fees.

I wouldn't buy it for the lounge access. It just give you membership in the program, you still have to pay for each lounge visit and the lounges that are included are pretty limited.
