Hi Kal, I'm just curious to what the difference is. Why would somebody not just pick a week? And would a floating week be a dis advantage in the new points system since it's not rooted to a specific room & week????

Basically there are no floating week units as the system is based on deeded weeks. The only floating days are certain high-end resorts where the owner is provided with a number of floating days in addition to the basic deeded unit/week.

The new Pure Points Program doesn't even have floating weeks. All you own is POINTS. Those points can be used like a debit card where you reserve a unit which is in the program. The reservation can be less than 7-days.
