To actually transfer it to him, you will have to have a new deed prepared in his name and recorded in the Bahamas and with Vistana. Because it's in the Bahamas, it will be more expensive than usual.

A cheaper option is just to let him use your account by giving him the online password. If you want him to be able to call as well, Vistana has a form you can sign authorizing him on your account.

You can contact Vistana directly and they may be able to give you a contact/lawyer who works with Vistana to handle the transfer. That was my experience with a deed transfer (not Harborside) and Vistana sent me to a lawyer who works with them.

This approach could be interesting years down the road. If the account can be set up with no mail, everything via email; if MFs are paid by direct debit to bank account; if Son can use with reservations in Father's name (i.e. names are similar); and if Son wants out say 10 years after Mother and Father die, can he just stop paying leaving Vistana with no one to chase down?

Being an info security professional, I am dead against giving someone else online access, children inclusive. It violates the terms and conditions of online use for both the parents and the son. The HOA can show that there is violation of online use terms - and it is not difficult to show who has been the beneficiary of the accomodation and hold the son accountable for ownership of the timeshare on his parents' passing. Now, with authorization, as what Denise suggested in the last sentence, it would be entirely appropriate.
