Does anyone have any experience with the sleeper sofas in the Ambassador units at the HICV Hill Country Resort. The was the Silverleaf and is not HICV.

I hope the Ambassador units have decent enough sleeper sofas, but does anyone have any real feedback?

TIA

Since no one answered my question, I guess I will answer it myself, since I was there last weekend.

The Ambassador Penthouse units have upgraded furniture, included an upgrade to the sleeper sofa. It is the kind that assemble, not the kind with the folded mattress. It was firm but comfortable. It was like the type in this video....

My other friends had the Ambassador unit, NOT the Penthouse designation. While the room layout is identical, the furnishing and decor was not the same. While a nice unit, this regular Ambassador had a typical but a bit uncomfortable folded mattress type of bed. Although the mattress was a bit thicker, my friends said it was not the most comfortable.

I would like to know how many are dissatisfied with the rest of the items they have lost since HIVC has taken over? Like early check in and late check out, their VIP status if they owned more than one week, having to pay for extra towels, the $115 deposit at check in. And now I hear they are going public after all have bought weeks and points now you can just walk off the street and rent a room. I signed up for and purchased deeded weeks if I wanted to stay in Hotel I would have just rented a room.
