Does anyone have a link to the new Tuscany resort, and when it will open up to the HGVC timeshare members? HGVC seems to be tight lipped with this one!

They are aggressively trying to sell it out completely with FIXED weeks so there will be little available to us regular HGVC members. There will only be a few HGVC units. The rest of the property will be condominiums.

Maybe it's time to officially drop the name Tuscany from the I-drive resort,
although I think 'I-drive resort' is a little bland. Maybe they can come up with something else.

It may get confusing with a Tuscany Italy resort coming up.

Yeah. HGVC calls the TS in Florida that you are referring to "International Drive". They write that it is inspired by Tuscany, but no where (that I can find) do they call it the Tuscany:

"
Hilton Grand Vacations Club on International Drive
8122 Arrezzo Way, Orlando, Florida - Central Florida

Inspired by the beauty and ambience of Tuscany,
"

So, I agree with you, call it what it is: HGVC International Drive.

Yeah, I often confuse Italy with the Italy at EPCOT.
It'd sure help not have two Tuscanies. <ducking>

When you're at the HGVC I-drive they refer to it as Tuscany, as do other HGVC staff in the area. I believe it was originally called that when it was built.

I own at Tuscany/I-Drive, and the name on my purchase documents is:

Tuscany Village Vacation Suites

I only posted on this thread because the thread title left little clue as to which Tuscany resort the thread was about.

Funny. Guess at the time they never thought that they would have a resort in the real Tuscany. At some time, HGVC dropped using Tuscany in their literature, but they are stuck with it on the legal doc's. Funny - :hysterical:

HGVC at Tuscany Village Vacation Suites (aka HGVC Vacation Suites on International Drive), Orlando, Florida

&

HGVC at Borgo alle Vigne in Tuscany, Italy
