Late, last night on my way home, listening to KFI 640 here in LA, the news was sponsored by Hilton Grand Vacations Club. No other ad, just the sponsorship. Thought it was kind of different to hear HGVC mentioned on the radio. Just a guess but maybe it's the start of an ad campaign for the Elara, since marketing in LA for Vegas timeshares is only a natural.

Glad to hear that they are advertising.

Well it hardly seemed like an ad. All that was said was, "the news is brought to you by Hilton Grand Vacations Club". I waited for the follow up spot but it never came in the next 40 minutes of driving.

Clear Channel (the owner of KFI) sells short little mentions (I believe they call them "spotlets"). So don't be expecting to necessarily hear a full 30-second or 6-second commercial later on...a news sponsorship could be all that HGVC bought...

Yes, it was a spotlet. Thanks for the info. I just thought it was interesting to hear it mentioned on the radio.
