I have 2 weeks on hold in RCI for the Marbrisa. One is occupancy(privacy) 6(4) and the other is 6(6). Can I tell from that which phase the unit is in or if it has an in-unit washer/dryer?

From what I've read so far, seems phase 2 is more desirable for newer unit and better view (pool instead of backside of Legoland)?

TIA!

Thanks for the link!

My best guess at this point is that the 6(6) are Phase 2. I read somewhere that Phase 1 are dedicated 2 bedrooms and Phase 2 are all lock-offs. I found a floor plan for the lock-off, which shows access to the master bath from both the master bedroom and the living area, which I think would make it privacy 4 on the 1 bedroom side of the lock-off (due to access to the bathroom without going through a sleeping area). The studio side would be privacy 2, making it a total of 6.

I can't find a floor plan for the dedicated 2 bedrooms, but the master bath is probably only going to be accessible from the master bedroom. I'm guessing the second bath is only accessible from the living area (no door from the second bedroom), making it privacy 4 for the unit. Can anyone confirm this?

All just guesses though! And I've thought way too long about this! :) I'm sure we'll be happy either way.

Phase 2 are not all lockoffs, only the first building that was finished before the new clubhouse, they face the new pool and do not have in room washer/dryers. HGVC system has no way for owners to lock off units, so these are orphans. The owners wanted in room washer/dryers so they changed the plans for all the other new buildings and got rid of lockoffs.

I've stayed in one, booked the 2LK type. I've also been in a new dedicated 1 br on the other side of the pool near the gym building, it had in room laundry. I've only stayed in a phase 1 three bedroom, not sure how those 2 bedrooms are configured.

Thanks for the info! Helps me manage my expectations. :)

I confirmed the 6(6) unit. Hoping something about the older units makes them privacy 4.

I just got back from Marbrisa on Thursday, and we had a 2BR lock off in building 68, in phase 2 (closest building to the clubhouse, facing the new pool complex). No W/D. The studio portion could sleep 4 (queen bed, double pull-out sofa). Not sure if this helps...
