Last night my son (11) broke his arm playing with a skateboard the ER put a temporary cast on. This morning the doctor put a hard cast on so his pool interaction will be extremely limited.Any suggestions for activities at Harborside for a kid in a cast.I'm leaving tommorow.

Well that plain stinks and I am sorry to hear that. They do have a crafts studio that my 13 15 year olds enjoyed last year. There ase also games that are played-bingo-trivia, there is a free full size movie theatre, casino (kidding), I would also check out the website for other ideas.

Plastic bag and a rubber band. That's what I used when I was a kid with a cast.

I agree--I think some of the rides he would be OK with by wrapping his arm and keeping it inside the tubes for example--obviously the ones than slide direct in to the water are not a good idea!
I also know I have heard of casts that can get wet so you might want to double check that with the doctor?

I had to act fast and take the first ortho doc I could get an appointment with. He didn't have the fully waterproof casting but I was able to get a waterproof sleeve not a disaster but we will have to tone down the water stuff somewhat. Thanks for the replies.
