I occasionally consider joining RCI for their getaways. It is hard to determine the value of this when you cannot see what is available. We are retired so going off season is fine with us.

Now for specifics. I was thinking of doing some snowbirding in FL this winter and next in conjunction with a yearly pass to Disney. We were thinking mid feb for a month this year and Jan next year. Is it likely that getaways would come up at these times in 1 bedroom spots in Orlando? Also what would I expect to pay per week? We are not overly picky.

Thanks in advance
Wayne

Presidents week and March spring break weeks might be more difficult, also New Years week. But one bedrooms for the lower demand time usually run around $519 to $600 a week unless you book during a good RCI sale or a Last Call. Sometimes during a good sale you might see under $300 for a one bedroom. The resorts I have considered for one bedrooms are Vacation Village at Parkway, Silver Lake, Wyndham Cypress Palms, or occasionally Wyndham Bonnet Creek pops up (Bonnet Creek gets picked off fast).
