Shell Resorts are mostly West Coast based. Flexible booking ... everything from 1 night to multiple weeks on one reservation. While now owned by Wyndham ... these resorts still have a warm vibe. I have stayed in the San Diego resort .. a city resort and the Phoenix resort....a golf course resort. There are resorts in Las Vegas, San Francisco, another 2 resorts in AZ plus a Las Vegas resort.

The Hawaii club points give you a early booking window for those resorts. You can bank one year of points and borrow a future years of points ... giving you 3 years of points to use .. for a longer trip to Hawaii with an earlier booking window. Perfect for Hawaii ... and long plane trips.

I own some Shell Points ... West Club .. priority booking window for catching up with my relatives on the West Coast.

if you don't find a taker, Shell will take it back at no charge with their ovation program. You loose all the points and any reservations and have to pay maintenance until the transfer is complete (1-2 months) Check the wyndham forum, for more info...several people here have at least started the process.
