I own an EOY (Odd use) 3 bed unit at Presidential Villas, Plantation Resort in Surfside Beach, SC. It is an RCI points unit that receives 88,000 points.

MF for the 2017-18 use year are $840, so this is under $1 per point.

The unit itself is floating weeks 9-19, 39-44, 47, 51-52. I'm trying to track down the deed to get the exact unit number.

Free to anyone willing to pay closing/transfer fees. I'd be happy to use LT transfers or any other inexpensive closing company.

Unfortunately, I doubt you will be able to transfer those points to a new owner. I purchased a week already converted to points and was told RCI Points do not transfer to the new buyer. :rolleyes:It's really rotten of them.

RCI points do indeed transfer to a new owner. This is particularly true at Presidential Villas, Plantation Resort in Surfside Beach, SC. I had an ownership there in RCI points that I "purchased" in the resale market, and I was also able to "sell it" (I got it for free and payed only for closing costs, and also the new buyer just paid the closing costs).

I used LT transfers for the closings, double check with them and I'm sure everything will be as I say.

I called RCI and they confirmed I could transfer the unit with the points. There is a separate form that must be filled out and a $99 fee. If someone wished to avoid the fee, the unit would revert back to Weeks.
