As far as I am concerned, the people who are planning this resort are nuts. There are already many high-end resorts in that area, and many new fractionals are already popping up. There have been three in the last six months, the newest is Lighthouse Key, with 4 bedroom units for exchange at the present time. The units have dual masters with large jacuzzi tubs. Lake Marion is out there, and Floridays as well. All of the units are large and luxurious. I haven't figured out what Villas at Regal Palms is, a timeshare or a fractional. I am not about to attend one of the presentations with Consolidated to find out, either.
I know Four Seasons is a cut above the rest, but will there be a market for them? My little ol' Foxrun can't pull Four Seasons in California, so I suppose I won't be able to pull the Orlando ones either, but I CAN pull DVC, and that is pretty high-end. I might want to tour the Four Seasons, and I wouldn't expect any kind of gift.
