End of Year Processing Begins at 11:45pm ET tonight (12/31)

Just in case you missed the announcement on the Wyndham site. Be sure to take screenshots of your point balances and reservations. In past years the site has come up well before the advertised time. Maybe they have extra processing this year - it's usually not scheduled to be down for so long. Looking forward to see what things look like when the EOY processing is complete. Happy New Year!

End of Year Processing Scheduled to Begin December 31, 2016


As in past years, access to your CLUB WYNDHAM® financial services and reservation systems (both online and via the Vacation Planning Center) will be unavailable during the year-end processing. You may still access your online account to view information posted through Saturday, December 31, 2016.

The year-end process is scheduled to begin on Saturday, December 31, 2016, at 11:45 p.m., ET, and is anticipated to run through Tuesday morning, January 3, 2017. We will provide you with the latest updates on the re-opening of the system here, at myclubwyndham.com.

To ensure that you do not incur any penalties during our down time, we encourage you to process any necessary reservation cancellations prior to Saturday, December 31, 2016. Please keep in mind that CLUB WYNDHAM® Plus reservations cancelled less than 15 days prior to check-in will result in a 100% forfeiture of the CLUB WYNDHAM Plus points used for the reservation.

In addition, your Vacation Planning Center will be closed on Sunday, January 1, 2017 in observance of the holiday to allow our associates time to spend with their families.

Thanks for the reminder! Definitely a good idea as I fully expect them to roll out some changes with this outage. They may work correctly or not so it could be very important to have those screen shots. Another owner and I noticed them beta testing several things a few months back so it will be interesting to see what January 3rd brings.

It does look like more than the normal end of year processing. Oh wouldn't it be nice if they get some things fixed and the system works as it should. On my 2017 wish list. Looks like our Point Status (the one that usually doesn't update) was updated. I see yesterday's activity. I don't see any points for the new year added yet.

Looks like the site is up at 2:50PM EST on Jan 1 ........ but not sure "Point Status" is complete yet .... will have to double check my #s vs what I am seeing.
