Someone please refresh my memory. What abilities are there when adding E-Plus to a flex restricted deposit? Can I add it and hop forward from the originating exchange or will I still be restricted to 59 days from the current day for each retrade?

I'm pretty sure that you can hop forward three times in a row. Last year I had to sit on a flex restricted week until I could use it. It was expiring in either late November or early Dec. On Aug 21 I booked an Oct week at Shadow Ridge. The next day I decided to add eplus and book a December week at Ko Olina instead (studio). Then in September, I eplussed into Kauai Beach Club but the dates were a bit off. I did my final eplus back in to Ko Olina (1 bedroom) on September 25th. I am also pretty sure that the originating week was a replacement week to which I was able to add eplus.

Thanks for the feedback. My deposit is a normal deposit from Marriott replacement usage but Marriott made the deposit inside 60 days so it is 59 day restricted.

Sounds like a good deposit to try to exchange and add ePlus then bump forward outside of the 59 day window and then cancel to see if it lifts the flexchange restriction. Of course it will cost an exchange fee. So there is a gamble if it doesn't work. Cancellation replacement is also then only good for one year.

This might work different though since it is a true flexchange deposit where if it were a a regular deposit that just got in to the flexchange window, it may work differently.

I'm not going to do the full cancel test but I did confirm that E-Plus removes the true flex restriction but likely temporarily. We knew it switched to the E-Plus type which they programmed later after all the complaints but I wasn't sure if the old flex restriction somehow remained underneath.
