I see 2-bedroom deluxe as well as 2-bedroom presidential units available...anyone know the specific differences between the two? The 'unit information' tab on the website isn't helpful at all.

Also, any tips on room requests...or any areas/rooms to avoid? Anyone know the ones most recently updated?

Thank you!

They are essentially the same units as far as layout and configuration. The Presidential units in Kona will be upgraded furnishing, linens and kitchen items. It is not a Presidential resort. and, there are very few Presidential units at that location. The resort itself is beautiful and pretty much any unit on the property will be lovely.

No units have ocean views (a few on the far south of the property have a "peek") so just take what you get. There are resort maps somewhere on TUG. The only "busy/noisy" areas are near the pools. I wouldn't pay extra for Presidential units. It's a good property.
