Hi, I own a studio week on even years.

Of course they're affiliated with II and there's not a lot of exchanges available with them that I can drive from Texas to visit often.
I think RCI would be better for me but I suppose there's no way to get them to affiliate them to Coconut Mallory??

When I bought they told me key west was a high demand so that sorta made since but who knows.

I'd like to be able to trade for Angel Fire, NM because that's a favorite place of the family to visit but no II exchanges, only RCI there.

Any ideas?

Post on Tug classified exchanges you would like to swap for angel fire. Or rent it and use the cash to rent an angel fire week.

Are you SURE about no RCI affiliation?

I think RCI would be better for me but I suppose there's no way to get them to affiliate them to Coconut Mallory??

Before you "sell and run", as advised in post #2 above, it might be worth a call to Coconut Mallory to inquire about current status of exchange company affiliation(s) and possible changes thereto. I say this because:

When I owned a week at CM a few years ago (since sold), I clearly recall hearing the sales weasels on site telling "prospects" that RCI affiliation was "coming soon; probably early next year" (...again, this was several years ago now). The words were from the moving lips of sales weasels, so it's surely possible that claim was never even true in the first place. It might be worth a brief phone call to CM at (305) 292-0017 to find out.

Since RCI will basically affiliate with any facility of virtually any quality, anywhere (...unlike II, which historically and consistently imposes higher standards for II affiliation), it seems to me almost a "no brainer" for a timeshare facility which already has II affiliation to simply add RCI and become dual affiliated, unless there are unknown specific contractual terms between a resort and II which overtly preclude doing so.
