I'm a starwood / vistana owner and I want to know how I would verify that what the seller is offering is correct and valid...

From my other post, I've now decided to purchase a platinum week and I want to ensure that its correct, how would I go about that?

You can ask to see the owner's original deed and you can ask the title company to request an estoppel letter from [Hyatt.]

Denise, this would be a Hyatt purchase, would I still ask for an estoppel letter?

Sorry - your reference to Starwood fooled me!

Yes, have the title company or owner ask HYATT for an estoppel letter.

Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch, Hyatt Main Street Station, Hyatt Ka’anapali; Marriott Ko’Olina, Marriott Waiohai; Marriott Maui Ocean Club; Wyndham CWA points, Worldmark credits.
We have recently purchased Hyatt weeks and in the two transactions closed so far all of our questions were answered by the closing company we used (LT Transfers) for two deeds and by our agent (Bill Gabrielli) for the other deed. They were both very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
