I saw this program info. through alltimeshare.com. It is a too good to be true deal. I can have my own RCI points account without deeded timeshare and lifetime annual maintenance fees. I e-mail them got the answer back: I will need to pay: RCI points setup fee+first year membership+closing fee=$2600. The gentlemen mention: membership in perpetuity in the RCI points access program AKA Florida Vacation Villas Club, I will get 10000 points every year, rent additional amount 1.5 cents per point.
I wonder does this program exist ?
Is this a good deal?

Bad deal ...

I have several RCI Points weeks .. 66000 points with a $850MF ... some consider that to be HIGH.

10000 RCI points are year gets you almost NOTHING but a DOG WEEK.

Renting the other 56,000 points that I own would cost you $840. There is no mentioning has to HOW MUCH you would be paying each year for the continued ownership plus the first 10000 RCI points.

But you would spend $2600 buy in costs ... I spent about $250 for each of my deeded fixed weeks including closing costs. I get HOME RESORT ADVANTAGE booking in Ft Lauderdale Beach Resort with the each week costing me $50 exchange fee ... you get to pay an normal exchange RCI Points exchange fee $209 (or close to it)...

And it is a club ... who is backing or what is backing the club? You planning to use this 5 years or 10 years... but the real question is, will it be around that long or gone in 3 years?

Cheap places - like Grandview - cost almost nothing in MFs .. Plus you can transfer in RCI points from other owners... Bet YOUR club does not allow you to do that.

You are fortunate to have 66,000 points that you only paid $250- do you use all 66,000 every year?
