Just wondering what the beachfront units are like at VCI.

I last was there in March 2006 right after Wilma went through(not in a beachfront). I don't remember too much about the resort. We have stayed at the other Royals multiple times since but never back at VCI.

Hoping that it is a great beach for a 5 and 7 year old

thanks

Since u are traveling w/ young kids, I would say VCI would be perfect for them..The beach is ok and the water is tranquil, no waves and shallow..The 3 other Royals in Cancun are located on the very wavy side..I assume u know that..

Thanks for confirming. We are familiar with the other beach. I have assisted a co worker with a beach front rental at VCI, just want them to enjoy the week. I think they plan to visit The Sands for a day or two, so they will be able to compare

I haven't been there since the RTU ended, but our 2nd or 3rd floor beachfront units had a nice deck to sit out on and were nice enough tho rather small compared to th e newer Royals. If I recall correctly our 2 bedroom only had one bath, but there was talk of modifications and they may have been part of the renovation.

If it a B unit, there are two bedrooms and one bathroom, all on one floor. If it is a C unit, bottom floor has one bedroom with two 3/4 beds and a bathroom, and upstairs a large bedroom with a king sized bed, and a bathroom.
