If I buy EOY week, for example Pinon Pointe, will the total fees payable annually be half of the annual week fees, or is it more than half? If it's more, is the difference because of club dues which are payable in full every year, or is there something else?

Typically, no. EOY MF's are usually about 60% of what annual MF's would be.

60% sounds about right. We own EOY (odd) at Pinion pointe if I'm not mistaken the 300.00 member fee being included on the odd yr. MF's brings our 1046.86 for this yr. to 746.86
We do pay 300.00 for member fee's on the even yr.

I am confused. So the annual fees are $1,046.86. How much would be EOY in year 1 and year 2? If it's 60%, then it would be around $628 every year, but it looks like it's different.

Not having an EOY ownership, I'm afraid I can't give you an exact answer. We've started a thread on this forum asking owners to post their annual MF's. If someone has a EOY ownership at one of the resorts where an EY MF is already posted, that will offer a good comparison.

Alternatively, I suggest you consider contacting Bill Gabrielli who specializes in Hyatt resales. He is also a TUG member. I think his handle is TimeshareExpert.

Sorry for any confusion on my part. As stated we own an EOY at pinion pointe for use on the odd yr. The MF's for this yr.(2017) is 1046.86. Next yr. we will only pay the 300.00 member fee.

So, depending of the resort MF, the fix $300 member fee will add more or less in term of percentage.
EY = ($746.86 + $300) + ($746.86 + $300) = $2093.72 per 2 years at Pinion Pointe
EOY = ($746.86 + $300) + ( $0 + $300) = $1346.86 per 2 years at Pinion Pointe

An EOY owner pays $1346.86/$2093.72 = 64.3% of an EY owner per 2 years at Pinion Pointe but at others resorts, the percentage will be different depending of the ratio between MF and the $300 member fee.

The club fee is $150 per year as a line item in the MF. I'm not sure where the $300/year number comes from.

So the actual MF is half of the annual. It is only the membership fee that makes is more than the annual. This is similar to how Vistana works.

Maybe I should ask when I'm there this yr. To the best of my knowledge 300.00 is what we paid last yr. in member fee's.
