I took the option to give back my week to the resort. I did not want to take a chance of a bankruptcy or owing money later. I am waiting to see what will happen with my Interval International exchange and request. I hope I do not lose my 2 weeks deposited with II. Does anyone know how II handles this situation?

If you paid your maintence fees for those 2 banked weeks and have already confirmed exchanges then you should be able to use them. We had a similar situation. Our timeshare closed, but I had paid my maintenance fee and had a pending exchange thru RCI they tried to cancel it but I pursisted and had my own membership. I had to talk to supervisor but was able to convince them that I held up my end of the bargain so it worked out.

I have one exchange and one request. I wonder if I should confirm an exchange with the request so I do not lose the week.

I would, hopefully you have a place in mind? Good Luck, and don't take no for an answer. Let us know?
