Hello all. I am looking at a Club Intrawest points ad, and the property is one of CI's Canada properties. The seller is located in Canada also (I am in the states).

Just wondering if there are any guides on TUG or any tips that you can offer on buying a Canadian property. I know that there are exchange rate issues, but are these transactions handled similarly to US sales?

Just so you know it's not Club Intrawest anymore - it's DRI Embarc points. There is no "home" resort so you wouldn't be buying a specific property in Canada, but rather points that can be used at any of the 9 resorts in Canada, the US and Mexico.
