I'm at Daytona Oceanwalk. They are offering a $5 Spa treatment tomorrow only, limited space. Is this another tactic to get owners into a sales pitch?

If so, I would only agree to attend if the massage was concurrent with the presentation..... then I would not care how long they went over my 1 hr...

Maybe. Or just could be a perk. Ask at the activities desk.

Not a Wyndham sales presentation. But if it is like the things I've been to at other resorts the person or persons running the sessions will be selling the products they are using on you. Yes they will probably be promoting their products but they are usually good products and it isn't a hard sell. They might even give you the $5 you paid for the session as credit towards a purchase.

Looks like BeautiControl - like Rodan and Fields. Multilevel Marketing like Tupperware, etc.

It is a sales pitch for beauty products. I went with a group of ladies, and they went to this. I would not recommend it. It is not the pampering they make it out to be, just someone trying to sell their products. The foot massage, you give to yourself!

Yes, that is exactly what it was. I DID like a few of their products though and bought some. We sat in a circle and applied the samples to ourselves. :(

If they aren't licensed cosmetologists/beauticians (whatever required in the state), they aren't allowed to apply products. That's why you give yourselves the treatments.

I feel like it is mis represented on the signage. I know the Ladies I went with were quite let down, as it looked like it was going to be a pampering event, and they ended up just rubbing themselves.

It definitely is misrepresented! It should also have the company name on the sign. For example, a lot of the places I have gone to have Arbonne doing "beauty" days. They always mention Arbonne, so you could actually look it up and see that it is a MLM.
