I'm starting to see availability for Hilton Head next Thanksgiving. Both Island Links and Coral Sands North have 3 bed/2 bath sleeps 10 available.

Does anyone have any sense which would be easier beach access in off-season? Any other preferences?

We will be 2 couples and 5 kids (family). Thanks!

I have no personal experience with either, but I believe that Island Links provides a shuttle service to the oceanfront Westin property.

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
I am not sure where Coral Sands North is located. Is it in the same area as Coral Sands but slightly North of the existing Coral Sands buildings?

I'm in a 3 bedroom/3 bath at Island Links right now. It's huge!! One bedroom has 2 full size beds, another has a queen size bed. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a sitting area that has sleeper sofa. There's even a sliding door between the master and sitting area. The living room also has a sleeper sofa. It would be perfect for a large family, especially having bathrooms next to each bedroom.

Here's the map I found on Coral Sands website. Coral Sands North is a separate number in RCI (C688) vs Coral Sands Resort #6736.

A 3 bed/3 bath would be GREAT!
What I'm seeing is 3 bed/ 2 bath, which seems to have no bathroom near the queen bedroom.

I think beach access will be easy for Thanksgiving at both locations. It depends on whether you prefer Coligny or the Westin. With teenagers, perhaps Coligny (Coral Sands) since there is more for them to do. With small kids I would prefer near the Westin (Island Links).
