This is different. The first time I know of since May 18th that they have announced maintenance prior to taking the system offline.

Scheduled so hope that means we will get the search feature that the OWNERS want!

Haha. I have absolutely no expectations. Any improvement, anywhere, I promise to be impressed.

My guess is "No, we will instead get a better Wyndham controlled cancel feature that will enforce the 48 hour rule for duplicate names on reservations." Or perhaps a program feature that moves cancelled reservations at desirable locations to Extra Holidays.

Site appears to be back up. Did not see any differences. Did not do a extensive test. It appears to let me search and book. Will be interested to see anyone can detect a significant user friendly upgrade.

Accessibility upgrades are still not working correctly. I expected that to be priority.

Alright, a little mini-rant and then I'll move on.

What kind of validation does WYN do anyways? :ponder:

I login today, and still see an alert letting me know they'll be down for maintenance at 4am this morning.

If they did ONE thing to validate whatever they just released, wouldn't you think it would be log on? Furthermore, is not logging in one of the biggest issues we continue to hear about?

Wouldn't you think they'd notice the banner saying they would be down for maintenance and remove the damn thing?

Consider me officially unimpressed with whatever that just did (or did not) release.

:crash:

Not real impressed either. The person answering the Owner Services/Owner Care number advises she no longer has access to see tickets. This is not a good change, from my point of view.

How telling of the ineptitude of the IT department that a header telling us about a three hour software upgrade is still blasting across my screen some 24 hours later? And it is the only reason Irma warnings were removed. A full week after any remains of that storm were near US soil.

You might think that. You also might think they could only show the message once per login session, instead of it reappearing every time you do a search. Why add a close X on the system message if you are just going to have popup all the time?
