Hello Everyone,

I'm picking up a couple of contracts from the TUG bargains thread - hooray! I've been provided with the estoppels for both. Can someone help me understand the way points are outlined on one of the estoppels?

Dated current as of 3/15/2017:

"This is a(n) Annual ownership interest and is for use in Each year(s). You currently have 0 CLUB WYNDHAM Points available for use during the current year. The use year for this contract currently ends on 12/31. Additionally you currently have 126,000 points available for use in 2017 and 126,000 points available for use in 2018"

I'm not sure how to read the 0 for the current year but 126,000 for 2017 since it is current as of 2017. Are these points of another variety? Can someone help explain this to me?

The other one is similarly worded, but it is dated current as of 12/09/2016, so that would make sense to me that the 2016 points were used and the 2017 point hadn't been used yet as of 12/09/2016. But again, maybe I'm inferring something that I shouldn't.

Not the end of the world if we can't use 2017 points, especially since we probably won't be recorded until pretty close to the end of the year, but it would be good to know what these mean....we'd try to use them if they're available!

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Sounds like the estoppel letter is old. If it is was a recent one it would say points this year, points for 2018, and points for 2019. Typically other TUG members will suggest asking for a screen shot of the points screen but of course with this new site hard to do that since that is missing right now.

Wyndham only gives usage available for current year and the year after. BDMX2 - I actually don't understand this estoppel myself. I think Wyndham did it incorrectly if you ask me.

So it isn't just me, LOL. Thanks Angela! And thanks again for the two contracts! I'll just assume that there aren't 2017 points and be pleasantly surprised and scramble to try to use them if some are there on either one :)

Guess I should have pulled my estoppel but AngelNoel is who I purchased from and she is very helpful. Had an issue receiving all the points for the use year because the seller made reservations. AngelNoel's company made it right for me.
