Is there any Hilton resort close to Xcaret?

Thanks!

You can book the Grand Mayan Riviera Maya with HGVC points, and that is only about 30 min away.

Depending on unit size and when you want to go it *may* (and I stress *may*) be "cheaper" to use HGVC via RCI to get the Grand Mayan in Riviera Maya.

I think the HGVC option is via SFX and it's a bit "pricey" vs. the 3400/4800 RCI will charge. Assuming you can get it.

But the Riviera Maya resort is *almost* half-way between Cancun and Play del Carmen, so if you want to go to either place it's a bit easier.

We went from Grand Mayana to Xcaret via the "bus" option (we bought the tickets with the all-day/night show and transportation from the resort). But we took a cab on the way back (that was a bit um, interesting).

The Grand Mayan is the same points requirements if you book via HGVC. 3400/4800.

The Grand Luxxe costs Kingsland Phase 1 points.

Ah, right you are. Although after a week on the Grand Mayan mattresses, I haven't stayed at one since. Grand Bliss or higher, baby. LOL! If you like a REALLY firm mattress, then GM is for you. haha.

If you're wanting anything "higher" I'd suggest depositing your week with SFX (Hilton 3400 point or 2400 point Las Vegas week) and getting the Grand Bliss (only in Riviera Maya/Nuevo Vallarta) or Grand Luxxe. GL is a $300 upcharge, but worth it, IMO.

Unfortunately had to pass up the newest Grand Luxxe offering in Nuevo this year. Going to Key West in July, then Orlando in October and Hawaii in Feb, so kinda blew the budget.
