Just got two matches for Marriott's Ocean Pointe, 6/11, with ongoing search, not Marriott preference

I matched two 2 bedroom units for 6/11, and I matched with SBP and Foxrun.

I am excited, but a little concerned as well, because these haven't been sitting online, so apparently Marriott preference doesn't matter for ongoing searches?

If someone has an exchange they have been holding, and they cancel it, the unit will go to the match queue and it will not be under Marriott preference. The preference period only happens once when it is initially deposited.

I got a summer HHI week that way more than a year from check-in.
