Still trying to piece together the various aspects of this series. Don't understand the films and how they depicted things to come. Any ideas? Is it over now or will they continue it.?

Major spoilers ahead. Stop reading if you haven't finished season 2.

I didn't read the book, but I expect it's over and there are no remaining storylines to cover. As for the films, they were likely shot in and transported from alternate realities, which Tagomi, and obviously his assistant, are able to meditate about and pass between. The ending showed hundreds of films showing that they are or potentially hundreds of realities and many more people able to transfer to and from those realities.

Seems you forgot to warn people of your spoiler! I haven't seen the second season yet...

Man in the High Castle- I have the book and have yet to read it. I saw both seasons. I still think there is more to come. I still can't wrap my head around the whole thing but I am fascinated by it.

Yes Amazon has renewed it for season three. Not certain, but the alternative reality theory makes sense to me.

I suppose where they go with John and the Reich is still to be told.

The series made for interesting conversations about what would have happened to us if we had in fact lost the war. Scarey:(!

There are many interesting alternative history books other than this story worth reading, if you are interested in that type of fiction.

DH has bing-watched both seasons and is looking forward to Season 3. He has no problem following the story line and loves it!!! I get lost and it annoys him when I ask him to "pause" and then have him explain to me how the pieces all fit together. However, I also could not follow the series "Lost" which had to be viewed weekely when it aired. DH was all over it and was an avid viewer. I stopped asking him on Lost because the construct was less interesting to me than Highcastle. So, he's stuck with having to explain it to me.
