Best way to go? Own 2017 week but need 2018 date

We own Koolina EOY and I have reserved (and locked off) for Thanksgiving week 2017. Plans change and we need to go next year instead (just 1 bedroom as I'll probably deposit studio in II). What would be the best way to proceed with getting a 2018 date? Deposit in II and exchange back in, rent it out and rent another unit? or is there an 'owners swap dates' area I am unaware of so I don't have to deal with II?

When do you need to go next year? Thanksgiving? If so, I think a deposit in to II and OGS request is the best option. You should have a good chance at a successful match.

That might make things more difficult. Feb is prime time where Thanksgiving is shoulder season. Still, II is your best bet to get what you need. Especially if a 1BR will work.
