Reservations on a resale voluntary resort

I own an annual 2 bedroom Princeville resale. I have booked the large one bedroom side 12 months out. I would like to book the star options attributable to the studio as 5 days in a Princeville large 1 Bedroom at 8 months out. Can I do this? The reservation rep said no; because it is resale I can only book a studio in Princeville.

Princeville is a voluntary resort, which means it does not have Staroptions when bought resale. Booking through VSN is not an "option", so you cannot book anything through VSN (SVN). You can either use your studio and book at 12 months or anytime through the year as long as there is availability or roll your dice and try to exchange through II.

The other question for you is whether your Princeville was requalified since you are 5 star elite. If it has been requalified, then it should have full VSN rights, which means use of SOs.

Yes, when you reserve online, the system will auto-select an ownership for you but you can click the "Show More" link to reveal and select other eligible ownerships.
